Due to its features it is a natural viewpoint, from which the breathtaking panorama of the Terra Chá region can be admired.
These slopes are home to the wild cows and horses which are famously sheared during the “shearing of the beasts”, the season when hides and fleeces are shorn and the animals are branded.
